So Much More to Do
Plans for the future
Our plans for the big wall - after I was to finish the flat rock facing on
what is still now just concrete with rebar sticking out,
was this:
We were going to make it ourselves with concrete, but have a real replica
for the skull
which would show from above as you pull in the driveway.
Alas, this will never come to be. I had plans to see all of this through
to its completion,
but due to circumstances beyond my control, it will not come to pass
(without a miracle)
We were going to put a pool in on the upper level deck,
add a bathroom to the main level bedroom,
add small stone tile to all the deck areas (besides where the Penrose tile
is)
on both the upper level and the main level decks including around the hot
tub.
This was the tiling we had chosen:
We also had plans for the driveway area and parking slab - to make a turn-around
area,
and to re-concrete the parking slab on more of a slope
so that the rain water would not sit in a big pool in the one low spot,
but would instead be re-directed to go down into the gut at the end of the
parking slab.
There was lots more in our plans,
